GeoData SL

 GeoData Sierra Leone (SL) is a Geospatial, Surveying and Environmental Services Company based in Freetown, Sierra Leone.  The company has most of its resources based at its main office at 3 Frazer Street, Off Wilkinson Road, Freetown. We are resourced with high level expertise and modern tools and equipment; and we base our work on the principles of cost effectiveness, quality production, and client satisfaction.

GeoData SL evolved from GeoData International Consults, which was first registered in London in 2005. GeoData International Consults established a branch in Sierra Leone, registering as GeoData SL in 2007.  It became the first national geospatial firm, initially with just two members offering services mainly in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). It has since expanded and extended its services to:

• Spatial data acquisition and conversion;
• Remote sensing;
• Cadastre mapping and land surveying;
• Electronic data surveying and publishing;
• mHealth;
• Software engineering;
• Spatial database development;

Environmental services including: 

• Environmental Impact Assessments; 
• Formulation of Environmental and Social Management Plans, Resettlement Action Plans, and Community Development Action Plans; 
• Rehabilitation of mined out areas included reforestation activities; 
• Solid liquid and household waste management; 
• Environmental auditing; 
• Biodiversity conservation; and
• Climate Change.
