Some recent and current clients include;
DTI (SL)
GeoData SL worked with DTI (SL) to produce a layout of the Old DELCO mines site in Lunsar and to produce digital maps of the layout in GIS maps and CAD. This is the current site of London Mining Company.
Decentralisation Secretariat
GeoData SL conducted cadastre mapping involving the digitisation of the foot prints of all buildings, street-to-street numbering of all buildings and compilation of these in spatial database for the Koidu-New Sembehun City Council in Eastern Sierra Leone.
World Bank (Sierra Leone)
We provided GIS expertise to World Bank Sierra Leone to map the locations of all bore-hole water points in Sierra Leone under the WASH programme using Android held devices. We provided training in GPS and data collection using Android devices, and participated in the mapping and analyses of water point data for the World Bank WASH team.
Ministry of Lands, Country Planning and Environment
We provided consultancy services to the MLCPE to digitise land documents and establish an Electronic Data Management System of Land documents. We further provided project management services for the Land Registration Project in the same Ministry.
Programme Coordination Unit, IFAD (MAFFS)
We have mapped more than 2500 hectares of In-land valley swamps for the PCU of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security (MAFFS) in an area verification exercise. We obtain coordinates of the perimeters of the swamps using GPS, produce maps of the swamps in ArcGIS and calculate areas in acres and hectares.
Programme Coordination Unit, IFAD (MAFFS)
We are currently mapping vulnerability to climate change of rice production areas in four districts in east and northern Sierra Leone.
Wetlands International Africa
We provided national coordination for the pilot project for sustainable coastal zone management for Wetlands International Africa, and established a Marine Protected Area in the Yawri Bay of Sierra Leone.
West African Power Pool Project
Our team memebers prepared the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Report for the Man (Cote D’lvoire) –Yekepa(Liberia)-Nzérékore(Guinea) -Buchanan(Liberia) -Monrovia(Liberia) - Bumbuna(Sierra Leone) –Linsan (Guinea) Interconnection Project, as part of the West African Power Pool Project (WAPP).
Sustainable Land Management Project (Medium sized Project – UNDP/GEF)
Consultancy work for the Capacity Building for Sustainable Land Management Project (Medium sized Project – UNDP/GEF) hosted by the EPA-SL, to identify potential pilot sites for the implementation of Sustainable Land Management Practices in the Wooded Savanna Grasslands of Northern Sierra Leone.
